Network Automation Engineer

A client of ours is looking for a network automation engineer to join their nextgen network automation team. The candidate will own the development from requirement intake to coding to production from start to finish using the itential automation platform. Candidate must be familiar with the network equipment like routers, switches and firewalls that they are creating automation for. They will work directly with different business units on a stack of requirements where automation needs to be created. The candidate should be a strong, independent worker and be able to do low code automation of any network related task. They will work off release schedules that include 2 weeks of requirement gathering, 6-8 weeks of development and then another 2 weeks for production/review. All of the work is tracked and documented in Jira.

Required Skills & Experience
- Cisco Viptela SDWAN
- 5+ years of network automation engineering experience
- Low code automation background preferably with itential
- Cloud networking AWS (H), Azure (M), GCP (L)
- Python/ansible playbooks or terraform experience to do low code automation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Cisco Firepower Firewalls (nice to have)
Cisco ISE / F5 Load Balancers (nice to have)
- Familiarity with agile process and jira for ticketing/sprints
