THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl) who work on a wide variety of projects, including: Healthcare, Education, Science & Technology, Sports stadiums, Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hi-rise/ multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

OVERVIEW

The ideal Candidate will be experienced designing and specifying building technology systems - design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and reliable network infrastructure.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Network design and architecture

Documentation including topology diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans

Configure, test, and deploy networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points)

Implement LAN, WAN, and cloud-based network solutions

Analyze current network systems and recommend improvements

Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide long-term solutions

REQUIRED/ PREFERRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

BSCS, IT, or similar

3+ years experience

Network hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar

Network diagram tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)

Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems, and wireless technologies

Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

CCNA/ CCNP, JNCIA/ JNCIP
