Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location : Onsite – Seattle, WA, US
Contract Length : 12 Months
Schedule : Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Hourly Rate : $70/hr. – $73/hr.

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Level IV) with 7+ years of industry experience to join our team in Seattle. This is an onsite position focused on the design, implementation, and support of complex network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in IP networking, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and experience with network automation. You’ll work within a collaborative environment supporting critical infrastructure and high-availability systems.
Top Required Qualifications:
Experience : 5–7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on routing, switching, and infrastructure support. Minimum of 7+ years overall industry experience in networking and infrastructure roles.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Networking Expertise : Strong foundation in IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols. Extensive experience with OSPF, ISIS, BGP, TCP/IP. Deep understanding of Cisco platforms (, 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx) and associated line cards and supervisory modules.
Scripting/Automation Skills : Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python , Bash , or Java .
Troubleshooting & Communication : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Experience with a broad range of networking technologies and protocols, including but not limited to: DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3/OC48)
Ethernet standards (802.2/3), VLANs/STP (802.1d)
IPv4 & IPv6, TCP flow control
HSRP, GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP
DNS, HTTP, NetFlow
IPSEC, VPNs, TACACS
Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and support enterprise-level networks and infrastructure.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing and switching issues across large-scale environments.
Automate operational tasks using scripting tools.
Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to ensure system performance and reliability.
Participate in on-call rotations and support escalations as needed.
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
