Network/System Engineer - FS POLYGRAPH REQUIRED with Security Clearance Currently, we are seeking a Network/System Administrator - PRIME CONTRACT to join our team. TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION. This position can be supported on-site in Augusta, GA, or Linthicum Heights, MD. Must have: CompTIA Security+ & Cisco certification (CCNA preferred) At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure in a multi-site environment Proven experience with Aruba ClearPass includes: Configuration of RADIUS and 802.1X authentication Role-based access control (RBAC) and VLAN assignment Integration with Active Directory and certificate-based authentication Additional requirements: Solid understanding of Cisco routing and switching, including VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, static/dynamic routing Familiarity with IOS and NX-OS environments Experience administering VMware vSphere and ESXi Knowledge of Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance or similar enterprise NAS/SAN systems Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 network concepts, subnetting, access control mechanisms Proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, RHEL in on-premises environments Ability to produce and maintain clear network/system documentation Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across multiple tech stacks Excellent communication and collaboration skills Desired Skills include: VMWare Certified Professional Aruba Certified Associate (ACCA) or Professional (ACCP) Configuration and management of Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager Development of access control policies Monitoring and troubleshooting authentication flows Managing Cisco routers and switches, including routing protocols Routine maintenance and firmware upgrades Managing VMware ESXi hosts and vSphere Administering Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance Network segmentation and VLAN design Designing secure, high-availability solutions Technical documentation creation Collaborating on incident response and system upgrades Nice to have: Experience creating custom ClearPass enforcement profiles and integrating with MDM/EDR Familiarity with Aruba Central, Palo Alto Networks, scripting, and security standards (e.g., STIGs, NIST 800-171) Experience with TLS certificates, Zero Trust principles, syslog, SNMP, disaster recovery planning Comfort participating in change control and technical discussions Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting
