Opportunity Summary The AV On-Site Support Engineer (West Haven, CT) will provide daily on-site support for audiovisual (AV), IT, and related systems. This position will also function as a service escalation point providing technical guidance and assistance to the client personnel, Cenero Project Management, and Subcontractors as needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide On-Site support for audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT systems. Diagnose, adjust, repair, and escalate audiovisual, videoconferencing, and IT-related systems. Configure & deploy equipment for various applications as necessary. Provide end-user support including concierge system assistance and meeting support. Develop a professional environment that includes rapidly building technical credibility with the Client while providing exemplary Customer Service that Cenero is known for. Represent Cenero professionally with Senior-level Clients showing empathy, patience, and competence. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to peers, clients, and management. Maintain awareness of new technology through continuing education, training, seminars, and reading. Coordinate all aspects of new designated projects at customer facilities, including communication, scheduling, and representation at meetings. Represent Cenero professionally at all times to customers and other contractors. Conduct site surveys for new business opportunities when appropriate. Assist operational teams with installations and troubleshooting as required. Function as Cenero’s final quality control inspector to ensure project work meets or exceeds design specifications. Maintain Customer Service Ticket information accurately in Cenero’s CRM. Maintain accurate timesheet information. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned service tickets from creation through resolution. This position does not directly manage personnel. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering and two+ years of Customer Service experience or five+ years AV-related Service experience; or equivalent. Knowledge of audiovisual systems, control systems, videoconferencing, and related cabling. Working knowledge of AV control systems, video/audio conferencing systems, and networking protocols. Experience with AV installation, troubleshooting, and repair equipment.
