Job Title: OpenShift/Kubernetes Support Engineer
Location: Strongsville, Ohio (Onsite)
Job Description: Join our dynamic tech support team as a OpenShift/Kubernetes Support Engineer. This role is customer-focused and supports the Open shift platform utilized by multiple lines of business within our client's organization.
Job Responsibilities: Support critical applications, ensuring service stability through dedicated maintenance activities Engage in automation activities, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation Knowledge of production support processes including incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and critical issue resolution procedures Work on Jira backlog when production incidents and change work arise Organize and lead multifunctional teams during customer service disruptions, configuration management, new feature deployment, and new product implementations Perform code upgrades without supervision
Skills Required: Proficiency in OpenShift/Kubernetes Knowledge of CI/CD Tools like Jenkins and BitBucket Linux administration skills Experience with Ansible automation Experience in Incident Management and Change Management
Preferred Qualifications: CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus 5+ years of related work experience Bachelor's degree preferred, not required (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)
