Responsibilities

As an Outside Plant Engineer (OPE) , you’ll support all phases of utility construction across a variety of telecom projects. You take pride in doing the job right, being the best at what you do, and rising to every challenge. In this role, you will: Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans

Oversee projects through all phases of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination

Conduct job site walkouts and lead project meetings

Ensure clear, consistent communication with all key stakeholders (customers, hiring managers, engineers, crews,

Verify that blueprints and project plans are feasible and accurate based on actual site conditions

Travel regularly to job sites to meet with crews, perform quality checks, and implement updates

Meet customer deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work quality

Qualifications

About You: Safety is a part of your day to day You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have 5+ years of experience in Telecom or similar industries Ability to read blueprints, Schematics, and maps You have an understanding of right-of-ways, redlining and whitelining and comfortability with implement changes when needed

You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You appreciate a varied work environment-both inside and outside You enjoy problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software You have a valid Driver's License with a clean record past 3 years MOS Codes 12166, 62E1G, 12A, 12N, 12T relate well to this position.
