Process Engineer – Polyurethane Manufacturing | $60K–$80K

Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 base + bonus potential
Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for process optimization and technical problem-solving? We’re hiring a Process Engineer for a leading manufacturer in the polyurethane industry. This is a high-impact role supporting daily operations, continuous improvement, and new product launches in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop and optimize formulations and pour patterns to meet production specs
Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues in real time
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve reliability and throughput
Lead process improvement experiments and cost-reduction initiatives
Support new product launches and plant startup activities
Write and update SOPs, SOTs, and technical documentation
Participate in safety and quality audits
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
1–2 years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with SPC, metering systems, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus
Willingness to work various shifts as needed
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
