About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our Parry Labs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing information systems security engineering support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of security controls for a variety of systems and networks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct security testing and evaluation of systems and networks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the security team.
• Stay current with new security technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems security/cyber security engineering.
• Expert understanding of security standards and guidelines such as NIST, RMF, and ISO.
• Experience with Linux, VxWorks and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with security technology such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (if not already acquired)
