ENERCON's Power Delivery group is seeking an experienced Principal Distribution Engineer to join our growing team. From reviewing design products to providing technical guidance and leadership, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with your work every day. Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management : Supervise local and remote technical staff to develop and grow the Distribution Engineering organization. Lead, coordinate, and build teamwork among team members/disciplines at all levels
Client Relationship & Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure deliverables meet or exceed the client’s expectations. Collaborate with clients to develop procedures that meet their requirements and increase effectiveness and quality. Lead technical communication and coordination with internal and external clients
Project & Business Management : Responsible for leading technical distribution design and analysis initiatives using knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards, practices, and regulatory requirements. Work with Project Manager and Client to ensure quality, on-time deliverables within budget. Develop and submit regular reports to track business and report results
Growth & Market Presence : Grow, market, and support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and overall client engagement. Attend conferences, workshops, and technical committees to advance ENERCON’s market presence
Collaboration & Problem Solving : Comfortable working alongside other Principal Engineers within the Substation and Transmission Groups for large-scale, multifaceted projects. Problem identification and resolution

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum 10 years’ experience including 2 years’ experience as a work group lead or in a technical project lead role in distribution engineering
PE (Electrical and Computer: Power preferred) with ability to apply for reciprocity in other states
Entrepreneurial background and experience in growing a team and expanding business footprint
Exceptional attention to detail and a talent for providing excellent customer service
Understanding of NESC and NEC design requirements and basic regulatory guidelines
Experience in electrical codes, standards, and criteria for power systems
Candidates must be collaborative, innovative and team oriented
Must be proficient with electrical analysis software such as ETAP, CYME, Synergi, or Windmill
Must be proficient with distribution design software such as Pole foreman, O-Calc, or PLS-CADD
Must be proficient with typical office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows
Must be self-driven in time management to meet deadlines and provide accurate deliverables
Ability to effectively communicate with internal, client and regulatory counterparts
Ability to travel 20-25% of the time. Duration of travel may vary from a few days to a few weeks
Pay Range
USD $140,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr. Additional Information

If a salary range is listed, it reflects the typical range for this full-time position based on the role, level, and location. Individual compensation within the range will be determined by factors such as work location, relevant experience, job-related skills, and education or training.
