EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer II - Software in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at headquarters in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, document and analyze modules or features of new or upgraded software systems, applications and new products. Develop and execute implementation according to project plans and priorities. Code, edit, document and debug of software based upon internal and customer requirements. Production Billing Support of Oracle BRM, applications in Google Cloud Platform and APIGIEE APIs. Participate in the full lifecycle of software development. Perform system and unit design according to technical requirements. Ensure that all the processes and methodologies are followed. Troubleshoot and support Applications in test and production environments. Research new application frameworks and suggest improvements to the application portfolio. Basic Requirements :
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus 10 years of experience in job offered or Computer Systems Analyst or similar roles.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Java, Node.js, Springboot, J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, and MongoDB OSS/BSS Jmeter and Junit ESB and Kafka Git or Bitbucket Oracle BRM and JAVA Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: GCP application development and support APIGEE API development and support. Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Compensation Range Annual Salary: $173,763.00 - $173,763.00
