This position is responsible for working alongside other Engineers, Technicians, and Outside/Inside Sales. You will also work with customers on new and existing projects. When working with the Sales Teams, you will be assisting in quoting customers on the cost of the specified project. Some responsibilities include PLC programming, creating new electrical schematics, designing layouts, selecting components for the project and working with the technician handling the assembly. You will need to support the technician by helping with any question or problem that may arise and collaboratively trouble shoot a solution.
*Key Responsibilities including but not limited to - * * Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems * Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to ensure proper functionality * Design, develop, and implement electrical schematics and layout * Project management for multiple ongoing projects and daily tasks * Assist technician and customer on any project(s) * Research and create quotations for new panel design/builds * Understanding of UL 508A & UL 698A
*Job Qualifications - * * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required and 5+ years of relevant experience * Experience and knowledge in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Solidworks * Experience in Ladder logic, C, C+, and/or other languages to program PLC * Organized/detail oriented, responsive, team player * Strong communication and presentation skills
