|| []; function gtag(){(arguments);} gtag('js', new Date()); gtag('config', 'UA-142498025-1'); The Project Engineer provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems. Works closely supervised and solves problems of limited scope and complexity. Responsible for: 1. Processing submittals. 2. Processing RFI’s. 3. Keeping up daily work tickets. 4. Posting RFI’s and change orders. 5. Tracking and managing change orders. 6. Maintaining as-builts as work is completed. 7. Documenting project issues/conditions. 8. Maintaining organized and detailed project records. 9. Submitting hours and cost codes. 10. Obtaining permits, badges and access requests in advance 11. Assists with preparing change orders. 12. Manage project library. 13. Participates in KPR (Key Project Review). Education 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program) with 0-2 years of experience. Physical Requirements 1. Ability to pass a drug test 2. Must be able to sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time 3. Must be able to view a computer screen for extended periods of time 4. Possessing good vision (may be corrected vision) 5. Ability to communicate 6. Must have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard, including significant fine finger dexterity 7. Maintaining effective audio-visual abilities and perception needed for: making observations, reading and writing, communicating with others, operating assigned equipment according to safety standards 8. Focusing on complex tasks for extended periods of time 9. Walking, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time 10. Pushing, pulling or lifting equipment or supplies routinely encountered in an office environment 11. At times, required to access work areas that are accessible only by construction ladders or stairs that are under construction 12. Must wear an Abilities 1. Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. 2. Sitting for extended periods of time. 3. Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. 4. Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. 5.
