About the Role: A leading general contractor specializing in heavy civil infrastructure is seeking a detail-oriented  Project Engineer  to join their team in  Marble Fallls, TX . Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project execution, from pre-construction through closeout Review project plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with contract documents Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain schedule and budget Track and manage RFI’s, change orders, material procurement, and project documentation Prepare and update project schedules, cost reports, and progress documentation Support site safety initiatives and assist with jobsite quality control Participate in client and team meetings and provide technical support as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 1–5 years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction (water/wastewater experience preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Bluebeam, P6, Procore, etc.) Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel to local job sites as needed What We Offer: An amazing training program Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and PTO Supportive team culture with opportunities for long-term career advancement Exposure to complex, high-impact infrastructure projects
