Project Engineer

We are hiring for a Project Engineer in the Indianapolis, IN area. Base salary is $95-$105K, relevant to experience and education.
Required: Experience in a project engineer role or similar, including design, implementation, and project closeout Proficiency in electrical CAD software Familiar with control panels, system integration and instrumentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, management, and clients Strong multitasking abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a willingness to quickly learn about new technologies
Preferred: AutoCAD Electrical proficiency Water/Waste-Water experience HIGHLY preferred 2- 4 year electrical engineering degree
Job Responsibilities: Provide concise and timely communications between customers, managers, and team members Have an attitude of sales to develop future work Perform project management Assist sales with adds and/or deducts Assist with invoicing Attend meetings Coordinate meetings Factory tests Graphic review Meet or exceed project deadlines Maintain communication chain Follow Company Standards Perform project design Develop bill of materials and maintain budget (equipment and labor) Be accountable to the project budget Perform and record calculations Power supply loads including PLC’s Motor loads Heat loads
Drawings and Submittals Submit design to management for review Programming and graphic development Control panel testing and review O & M’s Startup Training Define support engineer’s task Assist support engineer in completing tasks efficiently Review and approve support engineer’s work Perform after-hours response Provide technical support Provide support to Service Coordinator and field services
