Lewicki & Associates is seeking a self-motivated and service-oriented individual in a Project Engineer position.
Technical Support & Analysis
Provide technical support for engineering and environmental consulting projects
Conduct data analysis, modeling, and GIS mapping for project deliverables
Assist in site assessments, environmental analyses, and geological evaluations
Support project teams with technical calculations and engineering solutions
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical drawings, maps, and visual presentations using GIS software
Assist in developing technical reports and documentation
Create and maintain project databases and digital asset libraries
Support permit applications and regulatory documentation preparation
Project Coordination
Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers on project execution
Coordinate technical aspects of projects from design through completion
Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications
Support multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines and requirements
Research & Development
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
Research regulatory requirements and technical standards
Support development of new methodologies and technical approaches
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and procedures
Required Qualifications
Must have valid US work authorization
Must have valid driver's license
Education & Certification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mining, or related field), Geology, Environmental Science, or related technical field
Professional certifications relevant to GIS, environmental, or geotechnical fields are advantageous
No professional licensure required
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, environmental science, a related field, or graduate school
MSHA Part 48 Training a plus
Technical Skills
Required: Proficiency in GIS applications (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms)
Preferred: CAD software experience (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
Strong understanding of spatial data analysis and mapping techniques
Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
Data analysis and database management capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

Work independently
Follow all safety requirements on job sites
