Position Overview As the Project Engineer, you will support the project team with administration and documentation of the construction project, overseeing one to two trades on larger projects or multiple trades on smaller projects. Assigned Responsibilities Represent and demonstrate the values of F.H. Paschen: tenacity, versatility, ingenuity, and pride. Participate in preconstruction services, including estimating and value engineering. Track material procurement and coordinate deliveries. Produce project schedules with the site superintendent. Review and assess submittals for suitability. Quote and qualify subcontractor requests for change orders. Track status of change orders and Requests for Information. Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts. Maintain project close-out documents. Assist with field supervision. Read blueprints and perform quantity take-offs. Solicit subcontractors and handle correspondence. Manage document control and subcontractor coordination. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Hours Standard hours are 7:30 am - 5 pm, five days a week. Hours may vary based on project needs and safety requirements. Minimum Qualifications B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 1-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience with construction technology such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore. Strong written and oral communication skills. F.H. Paschen is an equal opportunity employer.
