About the Job Solution Design & Technical Assessment : Review tender packages, engineering specifications, and subsurface data (e.g., CPT logs, soil conditions) to develop practical and cost-efficient geotechnical solutions for both bids and on-site applications. Proposal Development : Prepare comprehensive bid submissions covering technical methodologies, concept designs, execution strategies, and cost breakdowns, ensuring compliance with client expectations. Internal Collaboration : Work closely with departments such as engineering, procurement, and operations to gather input for proposals and ensure smooth project transitions from planning to field execution. Client Interaction & Stakeholder Communication : Liaise with clients throughout project phases, providing updates on planning, scheduling, technical queries, and overall project progress. Site Operations Oversight : Manage daily on-site activities in alignment with design plans, project specifications, and timelines, ensuring efficient and quality execution. Team Oversight & Site Supervision : Direct on-site teams and subcontractors, upholding strict safety, quality, and performance standards while encouraging responsibility and continuous learning. Ground Condition Risk Analysis : Use geotechnical reports and testing data to foresee potential issues and propose proactive risk mitigation strategies at both pre-construction and construction stages. Project Records & Reporting : Keep detailed and accurate documentation, including daily logs, quality assurance records, site reports, claims, and risk registers. Cost Control & Resource Planning : Contribute to cost-saving initiatives through smart engineering, optimal allocation of resources, waste reduction, and streamlined procurement practices. Regulatory & Safety Compliance : Uphold rigorous Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) practices throughout all project stages, reinforcing a culture of safety and sustainability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role Possession of a valid “Supervise Construction Work for WSH” certificate is an added advantage. Note : This position will involve extensive time spent on construction sites. Applicants should be comfortable with outdoor, field-based work environments.
