Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage the commissioning of energy projects from the initial stages through handover, potentially overseeing EPC contractors, internal teams, and procurement.
Quality Assurance: Inspect equipment and systems to ensure they meet design specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements.
Testing and Validation: Conduct functional performance tests, review test results, and prepare detailed reports to document compliance and performance.
Documentation: Compile commissioning reports, systems manuals, and potentially other project-related documents.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, clients, construction firms, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and address any issues that arise.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expertise and support to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.
Required skills and qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related engineering field is typically required.
Experience: Several years of experience in commissioning or a related engineering field are generally expected, with some positions requiring a proven track record in managing commissioning projects.
