Project Water Resources Engineer

With guidance from ENGEO’s talented staff, you will perform a variety of professional engineering work related to water resources, flood control, water quality, and erosion control. You will be encouraged and supported to grow personally and professionally through mentorships and other learning opportunities. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support water resources projects.
Prepare and manage storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) for construction sites across the Bay Area region.
Conduct and/or oversee water resources-related field studies and coordinate with field staff to oversee the implementation and execution of SWPPPs.
Design slope repair and protection, flood protection, and creek/river bank improvements; assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications.
Visit ENGEO jobsites and provide field support.
Perform writing assignments to contribute to project documentation and deliverables such as technical memos, reports, proposals, and change orders.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with project stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, city agents, etc.) and internal teammates.
Perform other duties as needed.
Experience and Skills:
Our Ideal Candidate 3-5 years-professional/relevant internship/field experience
E.I.T. Certification
Experience with SWPPP
QSP and/or QSD Certification
Familiarity with the construction industry and terminology

All Candidate Criteria Education: B.S or M.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products -GIS and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis software experience a plus.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse environment
Ability to work successfully as a team also while being resourceful when working alone in the field
