PSA Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA 32904

Duration : 6 months with possible extension

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Seattle, WA. The role involves advanced Power Systems Application software development, working closely with Electric Utilities or Independent System Operators (ISOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to ensure successful delivery of assigned functions. This is a 6-month position with potential for extension or contract-to-hire.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in Electric Transmission EMS / SCADA / Implementation

Hands-on experience with SCADA systems such as Client Reliance (XA21), Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, etc.

Good knowledge of Electric SCADA applications/Power DMS/TMS

Experience in data modeling

Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the EMS domain

Knowledge of Database SQL/PLSQL

Experience with Test Management and exposure to automated testing

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Work on functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning, and delivery

Collaborate with Electric Utilities or ISOs and TSOs to meet project commitments

Travel to site locations as needed to address issues or for training purposes
