Job Description: We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation scripting (preferably Python), testing workflows, and hands-on experience with video tuning and camera systems. This role will be key in ensuring the quality and performance of cutting-edge imaging and video capture technologies across various platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or other scripting languages Execute comprehensive functional, regression, and performance tests for video and camera systems Work closely with development and hardware teams to verify and validate on-camera functionality and video tuning parameters Debug and analyze test failures, logs, and bugs across hardware and software layers Contribute to test framework enhancements and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines Generate detailed test reports, documentation, and ensure traceability of requirements Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar) Solid understanding of video processing, image quality tuning, and camera system validation Familiarity with embedded systems or mobile platforms (Android, iOS, or SoC-based systems) Ability to read and analyze logs from camera/video systems for quality and performance metrics Experience with on-camera testing environments is a strong plus Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to machine vision, computer vision, or image signal processing pipelines Experience working with video codecs, resolution scaling, latency, and tuning tools Prior work with automotive cameras, smartphones, or security/video devices Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams Detail-oriented and passionate about quality
