Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site role that involves coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing drawing sheets, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring that the project is completed by closing all deficiencies. Experience working with the Port Authority and at airports is must to execute the required project.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day quality control activities with subcontractors on the field.
Interpret and review project drawings and technical specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify, document, and report any deficiencies or deviations from standards.
Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of quality checks, reports, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve quality issues promptly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure quality protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 23 years of hands-on experience in a quality control role, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with Port Authority project requirements is a must.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and site procedures.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale public infrastructure projects.
