Position: Quality Assurance Engineer III Location: Twinsburg, OH Pay Range: $100k to $110k, plus bonus

Summary/Objective PrideStaff is conducting a search for a Quality Assurance Engineer 3 (Quality Engineer) who performs work to support our client’s business by leading activities and improvement projects related to the Quality Management System (QMS). The Quality Engineer may additionally lead standing QMS processes reviews, statistical process control, process dashboarding and cross-departmental meetings. Additionally, the Quality Engineer assists management in QMS activities including compliance actions, third party audits and corrective action / root-cause investigations.

Essential Functions Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively. Lead root cause investigation and implementation of permanent corrective action for process and product problems Identify opportunities to carry out product and process auditing. Develop control plans, monitor and report on quality key performance indicators for processes and products. Assist in development of process FMEA’s Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to internal and external quality standards Competencies Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-supervising within the limits specified by management and organizational guidelines. Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and analysis software (MiniTab) Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Good written and verbal communication skills. Effective communication with all positions within the business. Expertise in structured decision-making and root-cause activities. Proficient in performing and directing internal audit activities. Support management as a point of contact for third party quality registrars and auditors. Good ability to work with and direct cross-functional teams in standing QMS meetings, special investigations, and improvement projects. Required Education and Experience B.S. in Science or Engineering discipline Six-Sigma green belt certification required, Black Belt preferred. Minimum five years’ experience in quality engineering positions. Experience in ISO 9001 required. ISO 14001 experience advantageous. Experience interfacing with customers and suppliers.
