Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues, including thorough root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions
Support and lead activities related to AS9100 and customer audits
Prepare and submit documentation for PPAPs and First Article Inspections (FAI)
Monitor and improve key quality performance indicators such as scrap, rework, and customer returns
Assist in developing and maintaining FMEAs, Control Plans, and Inspection Procedures
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined and met
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and measuring equipment
Participate in internal audits and drive closure of non-conformances
Manage and maintain documentation in accordance with internal and customer requirements
Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing
Solid understanding of aerospace standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO9001
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, Pareto, and Fishbone diagrams
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working with customer quality portals and document control systems
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered
