Engineered Profiles, a leader in plastics manufacturing, is looking for a Quality and Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Ironton, OH.

Duties and Responsibilities: Lead problem investigations and drive corrective actions for internal and external quality complaints. Routine communication with customers regarding complaints and resolutions. Daily communication with manufacturing management/supervision regarding quality system conformance issues and drive/coordinate corrective action. Quality System Documentation/Process development. Assist in the training of manufacturing personnel in the shop floor quality systems. Participation new products launch process. Maintenance of an effective working relationship within/between departments. Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting time studies; solicit observations from operators; applying knowledge of product design, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors. Develop manufacturing and quality processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Assure product quality by designing testing methods; testing and evaluating finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing and quality processes. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, estimating future requirements. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with customer requirements. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
