We now have opportunity for a new vacancy of role for Corporate Quality function, reporting directly to We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern person to join our Central Quality team who will play a crucial role in supporting Quality Systems Development for Europe and the Deployment of Global Quality initiatives and SOPs. Key Responsibilities: Quality Development and Support Provide BU teams with support for Quality performance improvement, and trouble shooting. Provide a proactive review of quality planning and specifications for new process’s / machine / product in order that potential problems are eliminated or minimised. Provide BU teams with support for Q-Auto and SAP QM. Follow-up of process and product capabilities with the sites. Follow-up implementation zero defect roadmap in all European sites. Follow-up and development of PRAM database for implementation of new standard in Europe. Training of QA managers for new standard. Manage and follow-up of corporate quality training to develop quality skills within the sites. Develop problem solving expertise within site’s quality team. Workshop with QA managers to develop European standards. Produce and analyse weekly and monthly quality reporting with recommendation for work program to improve performance. Support operations in the development of the POP culture. Internal & External Auditing Plan and ensure completion and follow-up of corporate audits for all European sites Provide direct support to the BU’s with key customer audits to ensure consistency across locations. Complete audits of material & equipment suppliers, to highlight risk & promote improvement. Support to all BU locations to ensure compliance and certification for ISO 9001 & BRC, ISO 22000, AIB and Recyclass. Suppliers & Materials Work with Central Purchasing Team to ensure that effective systems are in place to track the performance of key suppliers into the Business. Produce quarterly supplier scorecard and follow-up of action plan. Work with Central Purchasing Team for the approval of new supplier (specification, quality and food safety system, supplier audit). The successful applicant will have a good understanding of Plastic/Polymer materials, additives and colorants, along with injection, blowing, extrusion and recycling processes. Education, work experience, skills and competencies required: Knowledge of Technical skills: Quality Mgmt. standards (ISO 9000:2015, BRC) Risk Management (FMEA, HACCP) – Other Quality Mgmt. techniques (process flowchart, Ishikawa diagram, Pareto diagram, internal audits) Project Management Equipment calibration Computer skills (MS Office and SAP) Advanced Knowledge of English Team player Communication and problem-solving skills. Education: University degree + specific qualification in Quality & Operational management techniques. Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Operational management and Quality Management techniques. Location for the role is flexible, however business travel will be expected (50% of the time in average).
