Job Overview: Responsible for the accounting of manufactured product, scrap and test material. Report and investigate any discrepancies found in the accountability process. The position requires assertiveness in a respectful manner elevating a level of awareness when warranted. Candidate must be capable of issuing reports on findings. Must take the lead in supporting the Operations Team for miscount resolution as requested.
Essential Functions: Attention to detail, ability to distinguish color variation, adherence to schedule, record maintenance and count accuracy. Audit, verify and/or reconcile production counts and sample Quality levels of finished manufactured product in compliance with PCI requirements following existing schedules and procedures. Notify shift supervisor of deficiencies in a real-time manner in accordance with established protocol. Bundle, wrap, pack, label in accordance with customer specific requirements. Load finished product onto trucks enforcing Security protocol Receive and inventory High Secure product. Operate various types of machinery including grinders, counters and measuring instruments Complete and maintain accurate detailed records of work performed. Data entry and maintenance of databases and record filing systems. Review and analysis of operator records and shipping information for accuracy and trend identification. Interact with fellow employees with minimal disruption. Build skids and have the physical ability to move up to 2,000 pounds using a pallet jack Perform CQM testing on MasterCard EMV orders. Support equipment testing, capability studies, calibration, SS, lean initiatives and other job-related duties as assigned by Quality Management. Conduct Internal and Customer Problem Report assignments. Fill positions outside Key Areas of Responsibility as needed to support. Operations. Train new associates and provide coaching to promote team growth. Knowledge of Quality tools such pareto charts, run charts, fishbone, and various root cause analysis tools. Active involvement in an Organizational Program(s) such as Internal Auditing or the Safety Committee.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, engineering is preferred. 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or relatable engineering experience Read and write English at a proficient level. Minimum computer skills: Microsoft Excel & Word. Familiarity with ANSI , SOP documentation ISO Standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, a plus. Obtain and maintain Banking/Financial clearance. Able to obtain and maintain MRPT clearance a plus. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity with or without corrective lenses. Frequent standing and walking. Able to lift up to 50lbs.
