Description Position: Rapid Response Sr. Network Engineer Location: Pentagon Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance Job Description: Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities Configuring and installing various network devices and services Monitoring network performance and resource utilization, trending, capacity planning Use of current and emergent network design principles and protocols Experience with network virtualization technologies Experience with multi-tenant network architectures Familiarity with a wide variety of network routing and switching equipment from multiple vendors Scripting languages and coding for network threshold events Requirements Certification: At least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects tied to the proposed solutions routers and switches Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M http://iase.disa.mil/iawip/Pages/iabaseline.aspx IAT Level III certification must be obtained within 120 days after start of BPA PoP for the Senior Network Engineer Years of experience: 3+ years primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches 3+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks 3+ years in a DoD environment Education: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Equivalent; Masters degree preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
