A minimum of ten years' experience preparing structured cabling designs in a data center environment, with commercial infrastructure experience desirable (tenant fit-out). Strong background in IT service delivery role (i.e. engineering support for projects). Has participated in the design and/or implementation of major IT projects. Experience in process re-engineering efforts (ITIL, Six Sigma, MOF/MSF, etc.) is a plus. Conversant with relevant ISO/IEC, CENELEC, and BICSI structured cabling standards, and a working familiarity with how these standards are implemented in various regions (US, CALA, EMEA, Asia Client). Working competence with modifying designs to meet customer-driven requirements and to accommodate unique installation challenges. Proficient with AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook. Familiarity with Visio is desirable. RCDD certification is REQUIRED and must be active. Management experience is desirable.
