Remote Structural Design Engineer
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced
Structural Design Engineer
to join our growing team. This is an immediate opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of
complex, heavily loaded structural systems
for large
industrial and manufacturing facilities . Our projects demand not only technical excellence, but also innovative thinking and strong coordination across disciplines.
This is a
design-intensive role
involving both structural engineering calculations and the creation of construction documents, with a focus on
Revit-based design and BIM coordination . Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver structural engineering solutions for industrial and manufacturing facilities
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment across client deliverables
Conduct structural analysis and modeling using tools like RAM, Tekla, and Bentley products
Prepare structural design documentation in Revit (steel, concrete, and foundation systems)
Perform calculations of loads and stresses on beams, foundations, and structural systems
Predict and analyze structural behavior under various environmental conditions
Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and health & safety standards
Select appropriate materials and provide repair or demolition recommendations as needed
Support project schedules, QA/QC goals, and deliver timely communication to stakeholders
Contribute to restoration, renovations, and lifecycle extension of existing buildings
Participate in site visits and inspections as needed
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus) from an accredited university
5+ years
of structural engineering experience, ideally with large industrial/manufacturing projects
Proficiency in structural steel and concrete design, including heavy foundations
Experience using Revit and structural analysis software such as STAAD, TSD, Bentley RAM, or similar
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in dynamic project environments and think critically under pressure
