Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to enhance our internal ABB knowledge and capabilities. The successful candidate will run and manage a MIG welding robotic cell equipped with two ABB robots, develop and design the cell's processes, and lead programming and troubleshooting efforts.
Responsibilities
Manage and operate a MIG welding robotic cell using two ABB robots.
Develop and design processes for the robotic cell.
Program and lead troubleshooting efforts using RAPID and Robot Studio.
Consider Fanuc or similar robots if suitable ABB candidates are unavailable.
Work collaboratively to cover second or swing shifts, potentially from noon to 8 PM, with flexible shift details.
Essential Skills
Extensive experience with ABB robotics systems.
Proficiency in MIG welding.
Programming experience with RAPID or Robot Studio.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Fanuc or other robotic systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot robotics systems.
Work Environment
The role is based on a manufacturing floor, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including potentially a noon to 8 PM schedule. The position offers an opportunity to lead and integrate robotics within a premier employer's manufacturing process.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
