Job Purpose As a Senior Robotic SW Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for robotic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features:
GPP platform to define system requirements, based on marketing requests
PE PD team, to integrate the developed SW inside CNH Tech Stack
Powertrain team, to integrate the robotic systems within the target machine
Other specific teams, based on the specific target application (DA&S, Innovation, )
Support the definition of the robotic strategy of CNH
Lead the development of software architecture and design for complex robotic systems, providing mentorship to junior engineers, becoming the reference leader in NHO PA
Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of the software for robotic systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Implement and optimize algorithms for robot perception, planning, and control.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
Defines and support field testing, to debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues in the robotic systems.
Supervise the deployment of the systems in the fields, reporting any issue coming from the field and involving the proper stakeholders to solve it.
Have full understanding of technology landscape and implementation requirements at the system level.
Ensure embedded software is developed in accordance with CNHi Vehicle Electronics and Advanced Engineering process and Functional Safety standards.
Create documentation that meets system requirements
Maintain system documentation to keep it consistent throughout the development
Provide regular progress updates to senior management
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics, navigation, and embedded systems.
Document designs, experiments, and test results for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience Required Bachelors / Masters in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related field OR autonomous driving / robotics experience.
Proficiency with programming languages, such as C, C++, and Python
4-5 years of experience in ROS and / or ROS2
4-5 years of experience with OpenCV
3-4 years of experience with working on various sensor data from cameras, stereo-cameras, LiDARs,
Experience with embedded software development and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Knowledge of control systems, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.

Preferred Qualifications PhD in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related field OR autonomous driving / robotics experience
Proficiency in Computer Vision
3 years of experience in embedded SW development
Experience of GPU programming (Cuda)
2-3 years of experience with Deep Learning Models
Experience with collaborative development tools such as Git and SVN
Familiarity with simulation tools
Agriculture knowledge
Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $119,000.00 - $175,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
