Position Summary:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with hands-on experience supporting video production infrastructure, software, and secure network environments. The engineer will work alongside multimedia and video production teams to design, deploy, and maintain secure AV networks and equipment, ensuring accessibility, scalability, and compliance with security regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain secure video production networks and associated infrastructure.
- Collaborate with production teams and multimedia designers to support studio operations.
- Assess and validate AV hardware and software requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical proposals and security documentation.
- Provide operations & maintenance (O\&M), software upgrades, and system documentation.
- Support procurement of video equipment and software within a secured environment.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for studio and network use.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Experience with video network infrastructure and broadcast workflows.
2. Familiarity with professional video software such as Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, AfterEffects, 3D modeling, and video/audio plug-ins.
3. Hands-on experience with studio equipment: lighting systems, cameras, teleprompters, and audio tools.
4. Understanding of video signal processing and secure data storage best practices.
5. Proven experience procuring AV tools within security-restricted environments.
6. Ability to translate security requirements into technical specifications.
7. Experience authoring system and security plans for video environments.
8. Proficiency designing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading AV networks.
9. Skilled in securing approvals and installing software/hardware in compliance with policies.
10. Familiarity with adapters and AV peripherals to ensure system compatibility.
11. Demonstrated ability to develop studio workflows and collaborate with production staff.
