RoleOverview: Wearelookingfora SalesEngineer tojoinourgrowingtechnicalsalesteam.Inthisrole,youwillpartnerwithaccountexecutivestoidentifycustomerchallenges,mapthemtoGridGainsolutions,anddrivethetechnicalaspectsofthesalescycle.Youllbeatrustedadvisortoprospectsandcustomersworkingcloselywithengineering,architecture,andoperationsteamstodesignscalable,high - performancesolutionspoweredbyGridGain.
This is a pre-sales technical role requiring strong customer engagement, architecture advisory, and solution prototyping skills.
KeyResponsibilities Engagewithprospectivecustomerstounderstandbusinessdrivers,technicalrequirements,andsolutionobjectives. DemonstrateGridGainsvaluethroughpresentations,architecturalwhiteboarding,POCs,andcompetitivepositioning. Designandvalidatesolutionarchitecturesthataddressperformance,scalability,andhighavailability. CollaboratewithSales,ProductManagement,andEngineeringtoaligncustomerneedswithroadmapcapabilities. Leadtechnicalworkshopsandsupportenterpriseevaluationsandpilots. EvangelizeGridGainthroughcommunityevents,trainingsessions,anddeveloperenablement.
RequiredQualifications: Strongcustomer- facingcommunicationskills,capableofengagingbothtechnicalandexecutivestakeholders. ProficiencyinLinux- basedenvironmentsandenterprisesystemarchitecture. Solidunderstandingofdistributedsystems,includingoneormoreof:in - memorycomputing,caching,datagrids,orNoSQLdatabases. Hands- onexperiencewithcloudarchitectures(AWS,Azure,GCP)andcontainerorchestration(Kubernetes,Docker). FluencyinoneormoreprogramminglanguagessuchasJava,Go,C++,orPython. Priorexperiencesupportingmission -critical,low- latencyapplicationsinsectorslikefinance,telecom,oreCommerce.
PreferredQualifications: ExperiencewithGridGain,ApacheIgnite,orsimilarplatforms(e.g.,Redis,Hazelcast,Cassandra). FamiliaritywithSQLandstreamingtechnologies(e.g.,ApacheKafka,Flink,Pulsar). Exposuretomemory- firstarchitectures,colocatedcompute/dataprocessing,ordigitalintegrationplatforms. Abilitytoguideclientsthroughcapacityplanning,clusterdesign,andperformancebenchmarking. Passionforteachingandmentoringviatechnicalblogs,webinars,hackathons,ormeetups.
