*12+ Month Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Salesforce Software Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing: Complete basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development; serve as an individual contributor on complex projects. Assist clients with resolving daily technical issues of any scope and determine feasible solutions. Direct less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks on small to medium projects or specific phases of larger projects. Participate in systems and integrated testing, prepare test data, execute detailed test plans, and perform debugging. Analyze complex interrelationships among programs and interfacing applications. Develop clear and complete technical and functional specifications, review documentation prepared by less experienced staff, and update systems documentation. Prepare assessments and task plans, including time frames and required effort. Recommend new technology, policies, or processes to improve systems and address deficiencies. Provide consultation services on supported applications, including operational procedures, system capabilities, and cost analysis. Follow and promote development standards and procedures while maintaining strong knowledge of the application(s) and environments supported. Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards and identify risk-related issues for escalation. Maintain internal control standards and implement internal/external audit recommendations. What You'll Need to Have: Proficiency with the Salesforce Platform, including configuration, customization, and integration best practices. Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum/Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery. Minimum of an Associate's degree and 4 years' systems analysis/application development experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years' systems analysis/application development experience. Familiarity with application development software and hardware problem-solving. Proficiency with personal computers, project management tools, word processing, and spreadsheets. Ability to manage multiple moderately complex to complex projects. Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time management skills. Experience coordinating between applications and business units. Proven ability to recommend and implement systems solutions and drive project milestones.

Pay Range: $50-$60+/hr
