Location: [Detroit, Mi or Remote] Start Date: ASAP Salary Range: [Competitive] Requirements BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. 5+ years of experience in embedded security or automotive cybersecurity. Experience with V2X security or automotive SoCs is a plus. Responsibilities Develop software for secure V2X message signing and verification, leveraging IEEE 1609.2 standards. Implement secure boot, trusted execution environments (TEE), and hardware-accelerated cryptography. Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security. Collaborate with embedded and wireless teams to integrate security features into the V2X software stack. Skills 1. Expertise in embedded security (5+ years), including HSMs and cryptographic algorithms (AES, ECC). 2. Proficiency in C/C++ for secure firmware development in resource-constrained environments. 3. Usage of security features of RTOS and hypervisors. 4. Knowledge of V2X security standards (e.g., IEEE 1609.2, Common Criteria) for message authentication. 5. Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit) and secure coding practices. 6. Analytical mindset to identify and mitigate complex security vulnerabilities (TARA).
