As a Senior AI/ML DevOps Engineer, you will lead the charge in developing, deploying, and monitoring cutting-edge AI/ML models and systems. Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and various stakeholders, you will ensure the successful implementation of AI/ML solutions. Your expertise will be key in streamlining deployment processes and enhancing the scalability and reliability of our AI/ML models.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce governance policies and standards for deployment pipelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Drive the adoption of DevOps governance, implementing controls to streamline software delivery processes and enhance reliability.
Establish and monitor DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards for visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Champion a DevOps mindset to promote agility, speed, and efficiency in the software delivery process.
Identify and explore methods to deliver software faster while maintaining quality and reliability.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to align with governance policies and best practices.
Lead efforts to automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Focus on key DevOps pillars including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), quality, security, compliance, metrics, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Utilize metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements and transparency within the DevOps function.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on governance, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree.
Experience with LLM model DevOps.
API and AI gateway management experience.
Additional Information:
This role is remote, though occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. To support your remote work, ensure your internet service meets minimum criteria: a download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting, varying based on geographical location, skills, knowledge, experience, and education, ranging from $129,300 - $177,800 per year. This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
