Role: Senior Security Engineer (Application/Cloud Security)

Location: midtown NYC, 3 days per week onsite

Compensation: 170-200k base + competitive bonus

A multi-strategy hedge fund in New York City is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to focus/lead their Application Security & Cloud Security initiatives as a key member of their security team while reporting to the Head of Information Security.

Responsibilities:

Build and mature the firm's application security program (SSDLC, code review, etc.) Oversee and improve the firm's cloud security environment (AWS, Azure, etc.) Perform code reviews, security architecture reviews and threat modeling Use the firm's Black Duck suite for appsec/vulnerability management Work with key IT teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines Remediate application/cloud vulnerabilities Requirements: 7+ years of experience in Information Security career with a focus on application security and/or cloud security (both preferred) Experience with Security Architecture Experience working with application security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA Strong understanding of OWASP Top Ten, secure coding practices, threat modeling Understanding of DevSecOps concepts Proficiency with programming languages
