Location : Columbia, MD

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph

DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation in support of the program. The engineer will analyze any newly identified vulnerabilities and deficiencies within the Enterprise IT/IC GovCloud security tool suite. This will include the research and evaluation of commercial products capable of eliminating the vulnerability or deficiency within the security tool suite.

Responsibilities

Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule Develop and deploy applications in a cloud environment. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. Formulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnel. Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products.

Required Experience

Knowledge/Background in ElasticSearch and NiFi Experience with Haipe Bod Experience in Java, Splunk and Python Windows and/or Linux experience Vine KG Tool Experience and/or GENOME KG Tool Experience

Desired Experience

Typescript, Angular 10+ and Java Experience in troubleshooting connectivity issues between KG software and hardware. MongoDB, Kubernetes (Docker) Relational data bases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Sybase, etc)

Required Education And Certifications

Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field Active Security + or IAT level II certification equivalent
