Senior Automation Engineer in Test

Responsibilities : Ensures that products conform to business requirements/company policies, software quality standards, and established procedures
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure robust and scalable testing solutions.
Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports.
Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands to deliver optimal outcomes.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Test Automation regarding platforms, development, and processes, providing technical leadership and guidance.
Create and maintain detailed documentation within code and in non-technical terms, including detailed best practices, test script summaries.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge with peers.
Maintain API Automation testing framework.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college
A track record of commitment to prior employers
5+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with deep expertise in quality processes, tools, and metrics, including the development of testing strategies from the ground up
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including architecture design, development, and scripting, as well as strong expertise in API and Web Services testing
Strong working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases with relational databases (administration and T-SQL).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.
Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational, written, and verbal skills.
Proven capacity to effectively interface with dynamic development teams.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and proactive.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Agile/Scrum experience.
