Experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in cloud transformation initiatives, and a strong focus on security, automation, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage scalable, secure, and resilient Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS). Lead cloud migration and modernization projects across hybrid and cloud-native systems. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform. Drive cloud governance, cost optimization, and policy enforcement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and resolve critical incidents. Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and scripting (PowerShell, Python). Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud engineering.
Required Skills: Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Azure AD). Strong knowledge of cloud security, RBAC, and compliance frameworks. Proficient in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD workflows. Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and cloud governance models. Bonus: Experience with AWS.
