LOCATION - HOUSTON, TX

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multi-discipline engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location based position.

Role description:

As the Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager , you will successfully manage, lead, and expand a practice as a seller/doer to execute design tasks and deliver construction documents for civil infrastructure/site development, focusing on public and private client market sectors.

This role is to be based out of our Houston office and requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, and the remainder of the week is working from home.

Role accountabilities:

Develop and grow a global practice based in the region and supported by a local/regional/national client base. Ideally, this person will be an engaged, well-known, respected member of the local market with a strong existing client base Develop a team and identify leadership to execute public and private civil infrastructure and site development, focusing on single and multi-family residential, institutional, and commercial development Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor Work directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals Oversees community and stakeholder communications regarding high-profile projects and participates as needed Presents executive reports to stakeholders and approves new projects in specific programs as required Assist with business development/client management and staff development to grow a regional civil practice

Qualifications & Experience:

BS in Civil Engineering Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer 15 years+ experience in the Civil/Site Development Infrastructure sector Experience managing and successfully delivering civil/site development infrastructure projects

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $122,478 - $208,212. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
