Your Role As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer focused on cloud provisioning, deployment, and security, you will be an essential part of crafting and managing advanced cloud systems. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure the seamless performance and integration of our cloud infrastructure. Leveraging the latest technologies, you'll develop innovative solutions and scalable models within Teradata's analytics framework. Collaboration You will be an integral member of the Teradata Vantage provisioning and security deployment team influencing our product strategies. Your interactions with cloud architects, security experts, product managers, and operations teams will ensure that we achieve our goals through innovation and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for provisioning and operating the Teradata database across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Oversee cloud resource management ensuring high availability and robust security measures are followed. Understand and implement security protocols to protect customer systems, addressing vulnerabilities effectively. Create and enhance automation processes for data management utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes. Collaborate with fellow engineers and stakeholders to meet integration needs and business objectives. Deliver solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, ensuring compliance with all security standards. Participate in an agile development team supporting Teradata's dynamic work culture. Research and integrate new technologies to continually enhance our product offerings. Your Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Significant experience in cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management. Deep understanding of architectural principles including networking, RESTful services, and distributed computing. Proficient with cloud platforms and tools, including Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible. Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with the ability to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
