Description Position Overview:The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership and systems engineering expertise for the Enterprise Information Management Systems supporting the Eagle Command contract. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of systems engineering activities, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead requirements development, system architecture, and design for Enterprise Information Management Systems, ensuring alignment with Eagle Command contract objectives.Coordinate and involve stakeholders across software, hardware, project management, security, and quality domains to ensure comprehensive system solutions.Oversee system implementation, integration, and transition activities, including installation, operational readiness, and user training.Develop and document transition strategies, installation plans, and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements.Manage risk, monitor system operational readiness, and proactively address technical and security challenges during system transition and sustainment.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and transition reports.Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.Ensure all deliverables meet contract requirements and obtain formal acceptance from internal and external stakeholders.Basic QualificationsTS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is requiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.12+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, including requirements development, system architecture, integration, and transition.Experience supporting enterprise information management systems or similar large-scale IT environments.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government contracts.Expertise in cybersecurity, compliance, and quality management processes.Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, CISSP, PMP).Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modern systems engineering tools.EC-DASCome break things (in a good way).
