Senior Control Systems Engineer

In the role of Senior Control Systems Engineer, we'll count on you to:

  • Lead complex control systems engineering projects across all phasesplanning, design, and implementation
  • Serve as Engineer of Record for SCADA/I&C construction documents, ensuring technical excellence
  • Oversee system integration, including PLC/DCS/SCADA programming and HMI development
  • Mentor design teams and coordinate workload to meet schedules and deliverables
  • Develop innovative solutions in advanced automation, operational tech (OT), AI, and data analytics
  • Write and edit I&C specs, select devices and technologies, and ensure code compliance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients on proposals, project scoping, and execution
  • Review electrical documentation, resolve cross-discipline conflicts, and support construction administration
  • Perform QA/QC on peer work and contribute to a culture of excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of advanced control systems topics including data management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, network architecture
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years applicable experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Automation programming experience
  • Experience designing control systems
  • Experience managing control systems projects
  • Knowledge of automation hardware including but not limited to Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, and GE.
  • Knowledge of automation software including but not limited to Wonderware, iFix, FacotryTalk, VTScada, Ignition
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential

The expected compensation range for this position is $136,000 - $193,000 and depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
