*Schedule:*

Full Time/ Rotation (14/14)

*Role:*

Oversees the successful completion of oil & gas automation projects from start to finish; coordinates efforts between several stakeholders and IC&E personnel. Responsible for evaluating projects as they arise, creating scope-of-work documentation, and clearly communicating project scope to all necessary parties. Responsible for developing PLC programs, testing automation equipment, troubleshooting electrical issues, and working with communication equipment. Must possess a strong knowledge of PLC programming, field commissioning and troubleshooting complex automated systems. Must be able to lead and guide lesser experienced technicians.

*Duties:* * Create PLC and HMI programs for new control systems. * Modify existing programs to meet facility needs. * Commission new or upgraded control systems. * Troubleshoot systems and equipment to reduce and prevent downtime. * Assist with maintenance technicians and site operators when needed. * Assist with the creation of project documentation.

*Minimum Requirements:* * Bachelor’s degree * At least 7 years of automation and controls experience * At least 1 year of lead experience

OR * At least 10 years of automation and controls experience * At least 1 year of lead experience

*Skills* * Read and interpret P&ID’s and electrical drawings. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Create and interpret project documentation. * Advanced experience programming Rockwell PLC’s. * Advanced knowledge of Industrial networks. * Experience developing and programming Human Machine Interface. * Strong background in troubleshooting complex automated system. * Understanding of PID Controls.

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
