Job Overview: This position is responsible for the design and programming of the electrical controls used on a variety of machines. This includes the ability to create electrical schematics using AutoCAD, bills of materials, develop controls programs using ladder logic (Allen Bradley) and develop graphic interface programs. If this sounds like you consider applying today! Job Responsibilities: Contact customers directly in order to discuss controls details of a project. Meet with outside suppliers to obtain and evaluate information on new or existing products or to monitor the progress of schedules or delivery dates. Provide technical assistance to internal staff or customers as long as it does not have an adverse effect on scheduled assignments. Minor changes to established hardware or software standards. Major changes to established hardware of software standards. Traveling to customer job sites for meetings or technical support. Provide pricing information to internal staff regarding controls engineering or hardware costs. Purchase equipment, software or tools.
Qualifications: BSEE, BSEET or equivalent related experience Minimum 5-7 years experience controls programming experience with Allen Bradley PLCs Minimum 3 years systems design experience with Allen Bradley controls panels (panel design/bills of materials/sensors/AC drives). Industrial communications knowledge Ethernet communications knowledge (a plus) Experience in an OEM environment highly preferred Hydraulics and/or pneumatics experience Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Excellent math skills Excellent organization skills Able to travel to domestic and international customer sites (~20%)
Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 - commensurate with experience This position has bonus potential depending on company performance Full benefits package (medical/dental/life insurance, vacation time, 401k)
