Job Description: What You'll Do In this role, you will lead the design of the Cybersecurity engineering roadmap and deliver complex secure systems, cyber applications, and technical projects while complying with regulatory and risk requirements. You will drive innovative Cybersecurity engineering solutions, optimize programs, and mitigate operational risks through strategic technology and design discussions. You will continuously analyze the competitive landscape and manage risk-related customer issues effectively. How You'll Do It As a principal advisor to upper management in Cybersecurity matters, you will: Ensure that security improvement designs are thoroughly evaluated, validated, and implemented. Perform incident triage for cyber platforms to assess scope, urgency, and potential impact. Certify that protection and detection capabilities are developed and maintained according to Cybersecurity engineering principles. Explore and assess emerging technology trends and security service models to maintain a competitive edge in Cybersecurity. Collaborate with management to promote and establish the strategic direction of the team. Provide strong leadership and subject matter expertise across all Cybersecurity technologies. Create and manage the Cybersecurity technology roadmap. Ensure adherence to all audit, regulatory, and legal requirements. Foster effective relationships with peers, internal teams, and external partners. Qualifications You'll Need The Basics Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, Security Engineering, or a similar role. Bonus Points If You Have 5-7 years of experience in an engineering or security-focused position. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to lead team initiatives and mentor development. Expertise in big data platforms (e.g., Splunk, Hadoop, Elastic stack). Experience with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform). Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). Profound programming skills (Python, Javascript, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage confidently with upper management and manage large-scale projects. Hands-on experience with common security technologies (SIEM, IDS, etc.). Awareness of security threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities.
