Responsibilities:You have a DevOps approach by nature and technology enthusiasm with a sharp mind and a “can do” approachPlan, develop and support projects in close collaboration with Software Engineering teams as part of our US DevOps teamDesign, deploy, secure and own Kubernetes platform (Google GKE/Rancher)Create tools to manage our CI/CD - kubernetes operators, microservices & other management toolsGitOps - planning the CI/CD pipeline and allowing the developer to take ownership of itContribute to the design and implementation of new products and features, making sure they are all developed so they fit nicely in DV infrastructureYou will work alongside the development teams to provision, automate, and tune multiple environments across cloud platformsWho you are:5+ years as a DevOps Engineer3+ year experience in managing/owning a Kubernetes-based platform.3+ years software engineering experienceDevOps platforms (GitLab preferred) experienceGCP or AWS Experience.Ability to leverage application and system metrics, log events, and wire data to analyze performance.Mastery of infrastructure management and deployment frameworks (Terraform/Helm preferred).Team Player with an ability to work independently and good communication skills.You have a strong desire to improve the developer experience of engineers that use our tools and software.You are a believer in creating systems that encourage automation, observability and ease of maintenance.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experienceThe successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$107,000 - $213,000].
